Adobe Labs has released Flex Component Kit for Flash CS3, this will allow you to crate animated componnet in flash and use it in Flex as a Flex component.
This is good Bridge beetween flash and flex this will help a lot in order to create cool custom componet for Flex in flash.
I see here an opportunity to convert existing flash custom comonents for flex by using Flex Component Kit .
